While stumbling through jquery plugins i found that jquery can produce some really cool flash like effects which performs good.
Moreover using html and javascript may help in better SEO than using old Flash methods. Just check out some crazy effects demos which may help you in some or other way in your next project. These are only demos and a good web developer can easily trace out the code via page source.
1. Image Menu
.
2. Jquery Banners
.
3. Dock Div
.
4. Animated Scrolling
.
5. Easing Demo
.
6. Superfish
.
7. Jquery Background Change
.
8. Menu Hierchical
.
9. Zoom Menu
.
10. Float Menu
.
11. Lava Lamp
.
Thats all!
Cheers!

Great post! I can’t believe people still use flash when you can use these instead.
It’s always impressive to see, that we get more and more interactivity on the web without proprietary technologies like flash and the like.

Hi, Good blog you have here. I wanted to let you all know that I think Twitter is going to be one of the better networks because of the fact that it is supported by so many industries. I also think when Twitter reveals some of it’s new features, returning traffic will increase to show the real growth of the network.
Anyway, I build a blog that gives away great resources for Twitter that are 100% free, so come and visit and don’t be a stranger.
Keep up the great work!
I really like the Image Menu. This looks fantastic on dark colour css websites.
