20 most commonly used symbols and their equivalent Markup


Many characters are reserved in HTML. i.e we cannot use the greater than or less than signs within our text because the browser could render them as html.
If we really want the browser to actually display these characters we must insert character entities in the markup. Here is the list of common symbols used in html.
